Jim has focused his career and practice on litigation, representing a wide variety of clients in State and Federal Courts throughout Indiana.
Before joining the Cline Law Group, Jim was a partner at Johnson, Gray & MacAbee in Franklin, Indiana, and then with his own firm with a statewide litigation practice. Jim has tried civil and criminal cases to a jury and to the bench in the Southern District of Indiana Federal Court and in many State courts throughout Indiana.
Jim focuses his practice with the Cline Law Group in medical malpractice defense, representing the Indiana Department of Insurance in claims for excess damages made against the Indiana Patients Compensation Fund and in licensure issues for healthcare professionals.
Jim graduated from Indiana University (Bloomington) in 1987 with a B.S. from the School of Environmental Affairs and from the Indiana University (Indianapolis) School of Law in 1990.
Jim and his family reside in Boone County, Indiana.
